Helping the citizens of Syria and Turkey

Southeastern Turkey and Northwestern Syria have been hit by the most destructive earthquake the region has witnessed in hundreds of years. Many of our CEU and Medievalist colleagues and friends were also affected by this terrible event. Tens of thousands of buildings have collapsed and the survivors and the rescue workers are in need of immediate help.

Also known as “Syrian civil defense”, a volunteer organization operating since 2014
