The CEU Medieval Radio Team is comprised of students from the Medieval Studies Department at Central European University. We manage the music for your continuous enjoyment as a Medieval Radio listener. Along with recording, editing, and promoting talk shows as part of the ‘Past Perfect!’ Podcast, featuring prominent scholars in the field of medieval studies. We happily serve medieval and Renaissance enthusiasts simply because we believe in what we are doing.
The original team: Tamás and Kyra have moved on to other projects, while Karen and Stephen are now advanced doctoral students with defenses in sight. Chris Mielke, host of the Past Perfect radio show, graduated from CEU to pursue his academic career. Yet, along with Stephen, he continued working on a Radio-related project long after graduation.
The new team: Doctoral student Michał Machalski along with MA students Tinatin Mirianashvili and Tetiana Akchurina are currently members of the Radio team, with other students joining us for certain projects.
Tinatin is a MA student in the Medieval Studies department. Her research interest includes the thirteen-century condemnations at the University of Paris. On the Radio, Tiko records podcasts and edits the audio for you to enjoy.
Michał is a PhD student in the Medieval Studies department. His research interests include Central European chronicles and the historiography of the Medieval State. On the Radio, Michał holds everything together, records a podcast and handles social media.
Tetiana is a MA student in the Medieval Studies department. Her research interests include Late Antique education, rhetoric art and ancient musical instruments. On the Radio, Tania edits youtube videos for our podcasts.
Former members also include Anna Romsics, Andrea Ceballos, Tamás Reinicke, Sanja Miljan, Anna Kinde, Olga Kalashnikova, David Rockwell, Marino Kumir and Karen Culver.

Really happy to have found this station: but am having problems with the streaming. I click on the big RED button, hear the “Past Perfect” and then about 2 minutes of music (if I am lucky) when the whole thing turns off and I, again, click on the big RED button. I can’t imagine that this is the way you intend for things to work! I’m using Safari to get to you.
Any suggestions?
